June’s club meeting offers bring a spike in adrenaline for your viewing pleasure!

Julie Riffe, of Riffe International will be presenting to us on Riffe, spearfishing, underwater hunting and spearguns. Riffe International is a premier maker of spearguns. Not only is Riffe the industry leading speargun manufacturer, but Julie herself is a U.S. Spearfishing Champion holding several spearfishing world records. Julie knows spearguns inside and out having designed many herself. 

For anyone interested in spearfishing, underwater hunting or even love to eat fish and appreciate sustainability, then you will enjoy this presentation. What’s that last part you may ask…? True while spearfishing can and is a high-octane, high-thrill sport, it is also, despite what some may think, the most sustainable and ethical form of fishing when done correctly. Just some of the interesting things we’ll learn next week!
