This month, Susie Campbell from the Ocean Awareness Challenge (OAC) will be presenting to our club. The OAC originated from a group of women sailors who are part of the Women’s Sailing Association - Orange County and are passionate about our ocean environment. The talk will be real eye-opener showing the state of the environment as it pertains to our oceans and to learn what we can do to make a difference to improve it. Susie will also present to us the Inaugural OAC event happening Sept 9th - 11th in Emerald Bay on Catalina Island. That will be fantastic opportunity for members of our club to get over to Catalina, enjoy some diving while participating in making a difference for the health of our ocean!
