Dear Participants and Volunteers,

Due to the significant coastal flooding currently affecting Newport Beach and the closure of access to the American Legion Yacht Club, we regret to announce that tomorrow's sailing event, Saturday, October 10, at 9:00 AM, has been cancelled.

The safety of our participants, volunteers, and guests is our highest priority.

Our Sailing for the Blind and Visually Impaired program will resume next year, in 2027. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another wonderful sailing season!

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Membership Eligibility

The American Legion Yacht Club welcomes members of the American Legion Family who share a passion for boating, camaraderie, and service. Eligibility is open to current members in good standing of:

⚓ American Legion (Veterans)
⚓ American Legion Auxiliary (ALA)
⚓ Sons of the American Legion (SAL)

The American Legion Yacht Club is the only yacht club in the world associated with the American Legion and proudly serves veterans and their extended American Legion family. Membership is subject to application review and approval by the Club's Membership Committee and Board of Directors.
