The ALYC is cruising out again! This time to Avalon, Catalina Island. 

Ways to get there

For the Boaters:

There are no online reservations in Avalon. Moorings are issued on a first come, first assigned. Our event is prior to summer demand. However, Avalon is now a favorite for non-boaters. The moorings fill up fast. For those planning to attend by private vessels; try to arrive Thursday May 19, or early Friday. The sooner you arrive the better chance of keeping the same mooring in the harbor for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For the Non-boaters: 

Catalina Express is a great option. Sails daily depart for Avalon 9am returns

same day at 4:30. There are also frequently scheduled departures available

from Dana Point, and Long Beach. Catalina Express

Hotel stays need to be booked by member on their own. 

Friday Raft-Up and cocktail hour 4-6pm- at Valor -Cancelled due to crew availability 

Friday Night- Dinner on Your Own

Saturday-Lunch 12noon- Descanso Beach Club

3-5pm Cruise aboard Valor- Cancelled due to crew availability 

Saturday - Dinner 6pm- Catalina Cantina

Sunday- Breakfast on your own and heading home.
