Ready to try something new, exciting, and absolutely SoCal? Come glide across crystal-clear waters with us on a stand-up paddleboard tour through Newport’s breathtaking Back Bay! Whether you’re brand new or just want to sharpen your skills, this clinic is your chance to get outside, connect with nature, and have a blast with fellow ALYC members and their families.

Skills You’ll Learn:

1. Stand & Balance – How to find your footing and stay upright.
2. Paddle Like a Pro – Learn smooth strokes, turning, and stopping.
3. Fall & Recover – Because even the pros take a dip now and then!
4. Steering & Direction – Navigate like a champ.
5. Beach Launch & Landing – Get on and off your board with style (and stay dry!).
6. Water Safety Tips – Local knowledge that keeps you confident and safe.

This clinic includes leashes and PFDs. (personal floatation device)
